Málaga Becomes LOT Polish Airlines’ Newest Destination in Spain
LOT Polish Airlines is strengthening its presence in Spain with the launch of a new direct route between Warsaw and Málaga, set to begin operations on January 15, 2026. The connection will operate four times per week during the winter season, increasing to six weekly frequencies in the summer.
The airline currently offers year-round flights to Madrid and Barcelona, along with seasonal service to Tenerife, a route that was launched last year.
Aligned with its 2024–2028 expansion strategy and in response to growing passenger demand, the Polish carrier is investing in a destination with strong tourist appeal. During winter, flight LO 439 will depart Warsaw on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:20 AM, arriving in Málaga at 2:35 PM after a flight time of four hours and fifteen minutes. Return flight LO 440 will depart Málaga at 3:35 PM, landing in the Polish capital at 7:35 PM.
Starting February 24, 2026, frequency will increase to six flights per week, further enhancing air connectivity between Poland and the Andalusian region. Málaga continues to grow as a preferred destination for Polish travelers, with over 100,000 visitors from Poland in recent years.
This new route will also provide seamless connections to multiple destinations across Europe, North America, and Asia, reinforcing LOT’s role as a global network carrier.
