On April 1st, 2022, Emirates will increase its operations between Dubai, Barcelona and Mexico City. Flights will be operated on Boeing 777-200(LR) aircraft, with a capacity of 266 passengers.
The airline will once again have a daily frequency on the above-mentioned route. With this schedule, Emirates will offer 1,862 seats per week to and from the Mexican capital.

Mexico City is Emirates’ second destination in Latin America:
- Mexico City (MEX): Boeing 777-200(LR) – 5 weekly flights (currently)
- Sao Paulo (GRU): Airbus A380-800 – 7 weekly flights
Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Santiago de Chile, the company’s South American connections prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, remain without a tentative restart date.
