T5MAD and Aviación Digital launch IAviación 2025: AI Conferences Applied to Aviation
The communications agency T5MAD and aviation-focused media outlet Aviación Digital have announced the launch of the Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Applied to Aviation (IAviación 2025). This event series, sponsored by Indra and Telefónica, will follow a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation, and aims to bring together aviation professionals interested in the latest technological innovations.
The core focus of IAviación 2025 will be how artificial intelligence (AI) is redefining critical areas of aviation. Key topics for discussion include predictive maintenance, air traffic management (ATM), operational safety, and the optimization of the passenger experience. Organizers note that the program will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions with leading industry experts. Practical case studies on flight operations optimization and risk reduction will also be presented, along with networking opportunities for attendees and sector leaders.
Indra, a global technology and consulting company with a strong footprint in aerospace and defense, will contribute its expertise in AI-based solutions for air traffic management and avionics systems. Meanwhile, Telefónica, one of the world’s largest telecom operators, will offer insights into connectivity infrastructure and big data analytics—key components for effectively deploying AI in aviation.
The event also has the support of major aviation organizations and institutions, including Spain’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), Eurocontrol, ENAIRE, and the Official College of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain (COIAE). This broad collaboration is intended to ensure a comprehensive and high-level approach to the impact and prospects of AI in aviation.
According to organizers, AI is already seeing growing applications across the industry, from algorithms that optimize flight paths to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, to systems that enhance airport gate assignment efficiency and personalize passenger services. For example, predictive maintenance uses AI to analyze real-time aircraft sensor data, helping detect potential issues before they occur and improving maintenance planning. In air traffic management, AI is expected to boost operational flow, capacity, and safety.
Organizers emphasize that in-person spots are limited, so professionals interested in attending are encouraged to register early. For more details on the full agenda, confirmed speakers, and participation options, visit the official event website: https://t5mad.com/iaviacion2025/.
