Air Europa strengthens its operation in Venezuela with the increase of its non-stop services on the Madrid (MAD) – Caracas (CCS) route. Globalia’s airline, will have an increased supply of flights to the Venezuelan capital compared to 2019 levels.
In the period from March to May 31, the company will have a schedule of three flights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) and from June the service will increase from 3 to 4 weekly operations.
Recently, Air Europa was authorized by the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) to increase its services between Madrid (MAD) and Caracas (CCS), thus strengthening the air connectivity between Venezuela and Europe.

- Madrid – Caracas Flight UX 71 MAD 16:05 – CCS 19:10 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- Caracas – Madrid Flight UX 72 CCS 21:40 – MAD 12:10+1 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft owned and leased by Norse Atlantic Airways, the company will be offering premium economy and Business Class on select days. Promotional fares are available from EUR 767 roundtrip.
Air Europa on this service offers convenient connections to several Spanish cities to Barcelona (BCN), Palma de Mallorca (PMI), Valencia (VLC), Vigo (VGO), La Coruña (LCG), Málaga (AGP), Bilbao (BIO), Alicante (ALC) and Tenerife – North (TFN); and popular European destinations such as Amsterdam (AMS), Stockholm (ARN), Rome (FCO) and Milan (MXP).
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Aena Estadísticas, 148,182 passengers and 1,583.6 tons of cargo were mobilized in 2022 between Madrid (MAD) and Caracas (CCS). For the 2023 summer season, Spain will be Venezuela’s main European market in terms of seats per kilometers offered (ASK) according to Cirium.
