Air Europa has announced a significant increase in its capacity for the Easter period. This measure aims to provide more options for customers wishing to travel to both national and European destinations during these festive dates.
To meet the growing demand from travelers, Air Europa has decided to add 9,400 additional seats to its destinations in the Balearic and Canary Islands during the Easter period.
In addition, Air Europa has also increased its capacity for flights to major European cities. 2,000 extra seats will be added on routes to popular destinations such as Rome, Munich, and Zurich, thus providing more alternatives for passengers wishing to explore Europe during Easter.
This expansion in the offering will be available from Friday, March 22nd to Sunday, April 7th. During this period, Air Europa will operate almost fifty flights from Madrid to Tenerife Norte and Gran Canaria, as well as a similar number of flights to Palma de Mallorca from Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, and Málaga.
To accommodate this increase in capacity, Air Europa has scheduled the use of its wide-body aircraft, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, on the mentioned routes. These aircraft offer greater capacity compared to the narrow-body planes that typically operate these connections.
Air Europa boasts a fleet of 26 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, consisting of 11 787-8s with a capacity of up to 291 passengers in two classes, and 15 787-9s, capable of transporting up to 344 passengers in two classes.
